2011 is the year of sizzling passion for all things on two wheels as it celebrates the hottest and most innovative bikes that would leave any hard core metal connoisseur sleepless and restless, praying for even a whiff of this year’s crème du crop! A parade of great machines heralded the year 2011, choosing the finest among them will not only be a most daunting task, but may also prove fatal for this poor soul of a writer if a diehard fan happened NOT to find his bet on this list. In no particular order, here are 3 of 2011′s hottest picks:

1.	Ducati Diavel- no list is ever complete without one of the strongest, most innovative, yet stylish models from the Ferrari of bikes: DUCATI. Ducati Diavel is a sleek, sophisticated, and sporty machine that promises a riding experience far more superior than any cruiser available. It sports a powerful 162 hp motor, a retuned of Ducati Multistrada’s 1200cc V- Twin, a rider- selectable engine mapping, and an incredible 240 mm Pirelli rear tire.

2.	MV Augusta F3- Bagging the award for the “Most Beautiful Bike” during the EICMA show in Milan, leaving Ducati Diavel a plain runner up in the said poll. Not only is the MV August F3 aesthetically superior over other bikes, it also has great specs to boot like675cc three-cylinder engine, the best cooling exhaust systems ever made, as well as a unique triple pipe shorty outlet.

3.	Honda CBR250R- Honda is one of the market leaders in bike technology, and they certainly do not disappoint with their sweetest brainchild this year! Honda CBR250R is a sporty entry level machine that boasts of a powerful fuel-injected 249.4cc single-cylinder engine equipped with double overhead cams actuating four valves, a gear-driven counterbalancer and a 17 ft-lb of torque arriving at 7000 rpm.

There are still great competitors for this year’s best, and the tight race promises a great feast of bikes which will leave aficionados rubbing their palms for the most innovative and trendiest bikes the market can offer!
